Who are we?

The Women’s Hockey Tribune was formed in August of 2019 to bring the best women’s hockey coverage to fans and players alike. This is a website devoted to in-depth analysis, breaking news, and featured stories. WHT is your number one stop for women’s hockey news!

Meet the Team!

Alex Thomas:

A 2016 graduate of Springfield College, Alex has a long history as a broadcaster and writer at various levels in hockey. Thomas created and is the lead writer for ‘The Oilers Rig’, a blog devoted to the NHL’s Edmonton Oilers. Thomas is also a featured writer for Boston Hockey Now and previously at ‘Murphy’s Hockey Law’. In addition to his writing work, Thomas is a play-by-play broadcaster for Northeastern University, Holy Cross, UMass Lowell, Boston University and the USPHL’s Boston Junior Bruins.

Thomas was the play-by-play broadcaster for the first ever Northeastern Women’s Hockey NCAA home game, calling the Huskies 3-2 overtime loss to Cornell.
